Submissions

We accept submissions from middle school, high school, and undergraduate students only, as we are a publication run by and created for students. We encourage all forms of academic writing including but not limited to research papers, review articles, and humanity/social science pieces.

Response Time: Authors should usually expect to hear back from the Journal within two to five weeks.

Publication Pathways & Fees

Fast-track Review: Notification within 3 weeks - $250 publication fee upon acceptance

Seasonal Review: Notification when next issue is released - $200 publication fee upon acceptance

Fees support our Community Outreach programs. Financial aid available upon request.

Submission Requirements

20-page limit (Times New Roman, 12pt font, 1.15 spacing) - not including works cited
MLA format with proper in-text citations
Submit as Google Document link with edit access for Nexus Academic Journal
All academic subjects accepted
Rolling submissions - submit whenever your paper is ready
